If I purchase Help Desk Authority after a product evaluation, can I save the information collected during the evaluation period?

Yes. You will need to make a copy of the database. Detailed information can be obtained through our technical self-help files or by contacting a customer support representative in our technical department.

What Web Browsers do HDAccess and Help Desk Authority for Web interface with?

Both applications optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 5.5) and HDAccess is also optimized for Firefox. However, these software solutions are written in standard HTML code and may prove effective with browsers not yet tested.

What type of server will Help Desk Authority for Windows run on?

The server that hosts the Help Desk Authority for Windows database can be any platform that will support the database you choose.

Are your prices site licenses?

No. A Help Desk Authority users license allows the product to be installed on one server (or PC acting as a server), at one physical location with an unlimited number of databases residing on the server.

Can I purchase both Web and Windows licenses? Do I get both license types automatically?

Help Desk Authority is available in a Windows based version and a Web based version. You can choose ALL Windows users, ALL Web users, OR a COMBINATION OF BOTH that add up to the number of licenses purchased. So for example, if you purchase 7 licenses, you can choose to have 5 Windows and 2 Web or 4 Windows and 3 Web, or any combination that adds up to 7 users.
